A Code of Conduct is not just a document – it’s a critical organizational tool for aligning employee behavior with organizational values, fostering a culture of integrity, and ensuring long-term business success.
Employers should develop a Code of Conduct to establish clear expectations, promote ethical behavior, and protect the organization from legal, reputational, and operational risks. Additionally, a Code of Conduct builds trust and responsibility between the employer and its employees, promotes a positive work culture, guides decision making, and ensures fairness and consistency across the organization.
